Why should you become a PABA Member?
Make new business contacts
As a business owner, new business contacts are always important. You will have the chance to meet the area's newest entrepreneurs, and you will get to know many of the businesses in Central Wisconsin.
Attend the monthly membership functions
We schedule our membership meetings to meet everyone's schedule, moving between luncheon and dinner meetings,
plus our evening Mixers. At many of these meetings, PABA brings you a featured speaker with information on issues that directly effect the business climate of today and tomorrow.
Enjoy our social functions
It's a great opportunity to network with your peers in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere. Our most popular events are the PABA Golf Outing and Bowling
Tournament....not your thing...? Then join us for our Mixers, luncheons,
Holiday Dinner, or the Annual Dinner.
Participate in community involvement, support, and promotion
Strengthening our area's economic base is PABA's goal every working day. We have a Community Development and Marketing Committee that works with the Village of Plover in the development of business recruitment and retention programs.
Receive information
Our quarterly newsletter, The Plover Advantage, gives you timely information on what's happening at the village level, PABA activities, the calendar of events, and business articles that effect you, the business owner.
PABA Backers
As the goodwill arm of PABA, you will visit businesses that have relocated or expanded and new business enterprises which are then promoted in The Plover Advantage.
Extra benefit
Benefit from our association with The Wisconsin Chamber of
Commerce Executives and share in our affiliations with the Portage
County Business Council, Stevens Point Convention Area Bureau, the
Village of Plover and the Village of Whiting.
